AI applications, shaped to your practice.

Neptune Data is a platform and a practice in one: a secure workspace for your firm's matters, a catalog of AI applications that run on them — and engagements that end in working software shaped to your practice, not a stack of recommendations.

Built for boutique and mid-size firms Each firm in its own isolated workspace Every output made for professional review

What Neptune is

One platform, three commitments

A workspace built like a practice

Clients, matters, records and access that mirror how your firm already engages — not another generic drive. Every application shares the same records room, permissions and audit trail.

Applications with lineage

AI that shows its work. Extracted figures carry the page they came from; calculated ones show their arithmetic. Review is verification, not re-work — and your corrections carry forward.

Bespoke, as a discipline

The workflows that define your practice deserve software shaped to them. We work like counsel-for-your-workflow: scope with your practitioners, build on your documents, validate against your own work product — and what you keep is an application, not a deck.

The Neptune difference

Off-the-shelf software fits the average firm. Yours isn't average.

Legal AI platforms sell the same assistant to every buyer. Neptune starts from the other end: the specific, document-heavy workflow your firm is known for — a K-1 season, a loan book, a lease portfolio — and builds an application around it, validated against your own reference work product. It's the difference between advice about your workflow and software that does it — the engagement ends, the application stays.

  • Scoped with your practitioners — the people who do the work define what "done right" means.
  • Validated, not vibes — output is checked against workbooks and abstracts your firm has already signed off on.
  • Operated on the platform — bespoke apps inherit the records room, access control, auditing and lineage tooling on day one.

The applications

Three tiers, from everyday to only-yours

Applications aren't a fixed catalog — they're a range, and every firm lands somewhere different on it.

Working with Neptune

From first call to daily practice

Your workspace, provisioned

Your firm gets its own subdomain and isolated workspace. Admins invite the team and grant applications per user, clients per engagement.

General apps on day one

Records, drafting, counsel and research work immediately — no integration project, no migration requirement.

Bespoke where it counts

We scope your highest-leverage workflow together and build the application for it, validated against your own reference work product.

Security & trust

Built like the confidential practice it serves

Isolated per-firm workspaces, encryption throughout, verified sign-ins, role-based access and full audit trails — with AI processing under your firm's own model agreement, never used for training.

  • Your own subdomain — sessions and data scoped to your firm at every layer.
  • Your own AI agreement — documents processed under your firm's API key and terms.
  • Your reviewers in charge — every output is a draft with the lineage to verify it fast.

Questions

Frequently asked

What does it cost?

Pricing is usage-based: you pay for the AI work your firm actually runs, with per-client and per-matter cost visibility inside the platform. Bespoke applications are licensed separately, scoped to the build. Reach out for a quote shaped to your practice.

What makes a workflow a good bespoke candidate?

Document-heavy, repeated, and expensive in review time: K-1 seasons, loan files, lease portfolios, entity structures. If your firm has a reference "gold standard" work product we can validate against, it's a strong candidate — that's exactly how the K-1 Suite was built.

Where does our data live, and who can see it?

Your workspace runs in isolated cloud infrastructure with your firm's data keyed separately at every layer. Documents are processed by Anthropic's Claude under your own API agreement; Neptune staff access is limited, logged, and used for support only.

Do you train AI models on our documents?

No. Your documents are processed to produce your outputs, full stop. Processing happens under your firm's own agreement with the model provider, whose API terms do not use customer content to train models.

What does onboarding look like?

Onboarding is invitation-based and takes a working session: we provision your firm's workspace and subdomain, your admins invite the team, and we configure the applications your practice needs. Bespoke builds run as scoped engagements alongside.

How mature is the platform?

The workspace, general applications and the K-1 Extraction Suite are in production with live firm data today. Some capabilities on the platform page are marked "in development" — we'd rather show you the roadmap honestly than pad the catalog.
